
Kristi Yamaguchi is celebrating her success on the dance floor. The figure skater was crowned Dancing With the Stars champion last night, after beating out professional football player Jason Taylor for the top spot. Yamaguchi danced the cha-cha, a freestyle routine and the jive during the two-day finale. She made history by scoring perfect tens from the judges for all three of her final performances.
Jessica Alba and Cash Warren tied the knot on Monday. That's according to People magazine. The pair reportedly wed in the ceremony room at the Beverly Hills courthouse, wearing casual clothes. No guests were at the wedding and Alba and Warren apparently applied for a marriage license just 40 minutes before the ceremony. Alba's brother tells E! News he was surprised to hear his sister had gotten married, but says he knows the couple plans to have a big ceremony at a later date. Alba and Warren are expecting a daughter this summer.
R. Kelly's trial is well underway in Chicago. The R&B star is charged with 14 counts of child pornography. On Tuesday, prosecutors showed members of the jury a 25-minute tape they say shows Kelly engaging in sexual acts with an underage girl, then handing her money. The tape surfaced in 2002. Kelly's attorney claims his client isn't the man in the tape, citing a mole on the performer's back that's not on the male in the video. Kelly has pled not-guilty and the alleged female victim claims she's not the girl in the tape. If convicted, he could spend up to 15 years in prison. That's all according to a CNN report.
The Fragrance Foundation hosted its 36th Annual FiFi Awards in New York on Tuesday. Fashion designer Vera Wang was honored with the Hall of Fame award for her contributions to the fragrance industry. Actress Minka Kelly, musical duo Salt-N-Pepa and actress Dana Delaney all stepped out for the event.
Cast members from "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" are out and about promoting their new movie. Shia LaBeouf, Karen Allen and Harrison Ford all attended their film's premiere in New York on Tuesday. Calista Flockhart and Ashanti were also in attendance. The fourth installment of the Indiana Jones Adventures is set to open in U.S. theaters tomorrow.
